Monash University can be a large and overwhelming place. If you have a question but don’t know who to ask, contact an MGA Support Buddy on WhatsApp for a chat.

Sometimes graduate students struggle to get answers to simple questions.

One of the most common things we hear at the MGA advocacy service is that students are often reluctant to ask questions for fear of judgement. Questions like, “How do I know who my HDR coordinator is?” or “Is it safe to walk to my car at night?”

At the MGA, we don’t think these questions are silly. So next time you’re not sure who to ask, contact the MGA Support Buddy on WhatsApp text messaging. We welcome all queries large and small.

Our friendly and capable WhatsApp Support Buddies, Sarah and Ying, are experienced advocates who can offer expert advice or point you towards the right University academic and support services.

If they can’t answer your question, they will know where you might find the answer.

All conversations are confidential and you can remain anonymous if you like.
